Scientific Project Manager
The International Bowel Ultrasound (IBUS) Group is a not-for-profit association with more than 1300 members worldwide, founded by a group of international experts in bowel ultrasonography and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), which aims to promote the high-quality performance and adoption of intestinal ultrasound in IBD around the world. IBUS is a scientific research and educational organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of knowledge in intestinal ultrasound. We specialize in conducting cutting-edge research and collaborating with leading institutions and experts in the field.
We are pleased to announce that our Science Team is seeking a Scientific Project Manager.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
As a Scientific Project Manager, you will be crucial in coordinating and overseeing our scientific research projects and working groups. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, objectives, and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborating with CROs, physicians, and study coordinators to achieve project milestones.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Managing project documentation, including research protocols, reports, and data analysis.
- Facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintaining high standards of scientific integrity.
- Contributing to developing and implementing research strategies to drive innovation and scientific excellence.
Your profile:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing scientific research projects.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders in English.
- Knowledge of ethical considerations in scientific research.
- A passion for scientific discovery, with a drive to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in your field.
- Flexible working hours and hybrid work (applicant must be based in Germany)
