The International Bowel Ultrasound (IBUS) Group is a not-for-profit association, founded by a group of international experts in bowel ultrasonography and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), who aims to promote the high-quality performance and adoption of intestinal ultrasound in IBD around the world. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager interested in educational projects and working in an international medical environment, with passion in developing, implementing, and monitoring efficient organizational processes to streamline operations, especially in complex multidisciplinary structures.

Your tasks will consist of:

  • Support the Operations Manager in management of the educational program from initial consultations to proposal, contracting, implementation and final billing and take on the responsibility for the assigned projects within the association
  • Planning of themes, (digital) concepts, budget, resources and training sessions together with the team and third parties (including venue search, set-up, catering and participants´ coordination)
  • Supporting the Operations manager in the management of the project budgets, documentation, invoicing and sponsor management3
  • Main point of contact onsite and online for project working groups, trainees, speakers, and trainers
  • Providing feedback after events
  • A good understanding and knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance regulations and the codes applicable to this industry is desirable

Ideally, you have completed training or studies in the field of project management and have already gained some practical experience. Independent, structured and deadline-oriented work, organizational skills and fluency in English will help you to make the most of the wide-ranging opportunities for your career with us (other languages are an advantage). Willingness to travel also internationally is essential in order to attend events and workshops onsite.
