Call for Applications for IBUS Group Board Election
Dear IBUS members,
We are sending out the call for the following positions open to all IBUS members in good standing and very much encourage your applications:
- Two positions in the Collaboration Committee
- Two positions in the Communication Committee
- One position in the Educational Committee
- One position in the Scientific Committee
All applications should be submitted via this link and should include a short letter of motivation (<=one page) and a short CV (<= two pages).
Deadline for handing in the application:
January 5th, 2023, for all committee positions
Election process:
- Committee positions: Members for the various committees will be selected by the current committee members at the beginning of February. The official announcement of the new committee members will take place during the IBUS members’ meeting in March 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Who is eligible to apply:
Every IBUS member in good standing.
Tasks:
The collaboration committee members are experienced IBD specialists with long-lasting experience in IUS who want to maintain and establish robust interaction with national and international GI and IUS societies. The committee communicates with current society members and promotes new society members. The committee promotes corporate membership and organizes the industrial board meeting. The communication committee members are responsible for distributing information about IBUS projects and IUS via various platforms and drafting the IBUS newsletter. For more information, feel free to contact the current committee chair: Carolina Palmela ([email protected]).
The educational committee members are responsible for the academic organization of the part 1 workshop and part 2 hands-on training, the webinars, and exploring and developing other IUS educational activities. The scientific committee members support IUS research projects, explore and develop scientific projects performed by IBUS, and are responsible for the ECCO-IBUS research grant review process.
