Workshop description
The 14th IBUS Hybrid Module 1 Workshop will take place on January 10th - 11th, 2026 in Cleveland, OH.
This IBUS workshop has been developed by a group of international experts in IBD and intestinal ultrasound (IUS). Participants will learn about the basics of intestinal ultrasound (IUS) and the role of IUS in diagnosis, follow-up of treatment, and complications in IBD.
The workshop consist in 2 parts:
- Theoretical and didactic training: participants will engage in an interactive, self-directed eLearning course via IBUS
- Practical training: the hands-on experience component will be facilitated through an introductory face-to-face course involving sessions with patients
The workshop is organized in collaboration with with Cleveland Clinic and iUSCAN and under the medical lead of Drs Katherine Falloon and Florian Rieder from Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, OH - USA), Dr Michael Dolinger from Mount Sinai Hospital (New York, NY - USA) and Prof. Christian Maaser from Municipal Hospital of Lüneburg (Lüneburg, Germany).
