Event Description
Accurate differentiation between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and its mimickers, such as infectious colitis, ischemia, neoplasms, and diverticulosis, is a critical skill for clinicians utilizing intestinal ultrasound. This advanced workshop is designed to strengthen your ability to recognize sonographic patterns that help distinguish IBD from other gastrointestinal pathologies in both acute and chronic settings.
Through a series of expert led lectures, real-case cine loops, and interactive image interpretation sessions, this interactive session will deepen your understanding.
Whether you’ve been using IUS for years or are looking to fine-tune your approach, there will be plenty of insights to support your daily clinical decision-making.
The workshop will be organised under the medical lead of Dr. Ahmad Albshesh, Dr. Kenneth Ernest-Suarez and Dr. Federica Furfaro, with the participation of specialists from different regions.

Please note that to be eligible for this advanced workshop you must be an IBUS member in good standing and have completed the full IBUS curriculum.
