You will learn about the basics of intestinal ultrasound (IUS) and the role of IUS in diagnosis\, follow-up of treatment\, and complications in IBD. \n\nThe workshop will be organized under the medical lead of Dr Carlos Rettally from Pacifica Salud - Hospital Punta Pacifica and Dr Kenneth Ernest-Suarez from Zeidler Ledcor Centre\, University of Alberta and in collaboration with PANCCO – Pan American Crohn´s and Colitis Organisation. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n			Application process	\n\n	\nThe application process is divided into the following 3 steps: \n1. Submission of application: To be taken into consideration for the application process\, fully completed applications must be submitted by April 30th\, 2026. Applicants must submit\, together with their CV\, a Letter of Recommendation from their Head of Department. \n2. Review and selection: The Workshop Steering Committee will review all applications and select the potential workshop participants by mid May 2026. \n3. Workshop registration: the selected applicants will receive an invoice for the participation fee (600\,00 USD + 19% VAT).
