Participants will learn about the basics of IUS and its role in diagnosis\, follow-up of treatment\, and complications in IBD. \nThe workshop consists of 2 parts: \n\nTheoretical and didactic training: participants will engage in an interactive\, self-directed eLearning course via IBUS\nPractical training: the hands-on experience component will be facilitated through an introductory face-to-face workshop involving sessions with patients\n\nThe workshop will be organized under the medical lead of Dr Ghassan Wahbeh from Seattle Children's - Gastroenterology and Hepatology (USA) and in collaboration with IBDFrontiers Intestinal Ultrasound and iUSCAN. \n\n\n			Application Process	\n\n	The application process is divided into the following 3 steps: \n1. Submission of application: To be taken into consideration for the application process\, fully completed applications must be submitted by June 25th\, 2026. Applicants must submit together with their CV a Letter of Recommendation from their Head of Department. \nDuring the application process applicants will be prompted to confirm their commitment to completing the eLearning component of Module 1 before attending the face-to-face workshop on October 16th (please note this is a mandatory prerequisite to attend the workshop - more information on the content can be found here.) \n2. Review and selection: The Workshop Steering Committee will review all applications and select the potential workshop participants by early July\, 2026. \n3. Workshop Registration: The selected applicants will receive an invoice of 2500 USD which includes access to the IBUS eLearning course and attendance to the in-person workshop. This invoice will be issued by IBDFrontiers Intestinal Ultrasound. \nSelected applicants must be active IBUS and iUSCAN members. \n\nFor IBUS membership information please visit our website here.\nFor iUSCAN membership information please refer to this webpage.\n\n  \nPlease note that travel and accommodation arrangements are not included in the participation fee. \n\n\n	This IBUS Hybrid Module 1 Workshop is intended for adult and pediatric physicians and advanced practitioners. Only fully completed applications will be taken into consideration. \nIt is a mandatory requirement to have access to an ultrasound machine in order to apply for this workshop. \nTravel grants are available to trainees (fellow and resident physicians) and advanced practice providers who will be attending IBDFrontiers Annual Symposium on Saturday\, October 17\, 2026. This is a free 5.5-hour CE-certified IBD symposium open to all applicants.
